Valkyria Chronicles 4 owners will get a discount
Valkyria Chronicles 4 is already coming to Nintendo Switch in the middle of this month. The original Valkyria Chronicles is as well.
Sega confirmed the news at PAX West yesterday. Sega said it is not, however, the remastered version of the game that launched in 2016 on PlayStation 4.
Players who have Valkyria Chronicles 4 in their Switch library will get $5 off Valkyria Chronicles’ eShop price of $19.99. However, Valkyria Chronicles goes on the eShop Sept. 15; Valkyria Chronicles 4 launches Sept. 25. So fans may want to wait on purchasing the original if they’re getting the second.
The first Valkyria Chronicles launched in 2008 on PlayStation 3. Valkyria Chronicles 4 launched in Japan back in March and is coming to the Switch, plus PS4, Windows PC and Xbox One. A demo of VC4went up on the eShop about a month ago.
Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise,
which likewise launched in Japan back in March, will also get a demo on
Tuesday, Sega said at the same panel. That game launches in the west
Oct. 2.
